His advanced certifications and specialized techniques, including Blood Flow Restriction Therapy and Dry Needling, allow him to accelerate healing and deliver lasting results.

Specialties

Dr. Tapp specializes in treating orthopedic injuries, with a particular focus on helping athletes recover and return to peak performance. He has a strong interest in vestibular dysfunction, including conditions like BPPV and concussion care. His comprehensive approach addresses both the symptoms and underlying causes of pain, ensuring effective, long-term results.

Personal Life

Outside the clinic, Dr. Tapp enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, playing recreational sports, and staying actively involved in his church and local community. His passion for helping others extends beyond physical therapy, as he strives to make a positive impact both inside and outside the clinic.

Education

Dr. Tapp earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Belmont University. He is certified in Dry Needling, Blood Flow Restriction Therapy, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), and Champion Performance Specialist. Additionally, he is trained as an Emergency Medical Responder through the Red Cross.

Amy’s treatment approach is grounded in personalized care, with a strong focus on general orthopedics and post-surgical recovery—especially total knee replacements. Her skill set also includes managing complex conditions such as temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and supporting women's health through peri and postpartum care. Whether you're working to regain strength, reduce chronic pain, or simply feel confident in your body again, Amy is passionate about helping women become their strongest selves—both physically and mentally.

Personal Life

Outside the clinic, Amy finds joy in spending time with her husband, Andrew, and staying active with family and friends. Her love for travel, outdoor adventures, and fitness translates into a lifestyle that mirrors the active, vibrant energy she brings to her work. Whether it’s chasing a pickleball across the court or teeing off on a golf course, Amy knows the value of movement and makes it her mission to help others enjoy that same freedom.

Amy earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue University, where her interest in human movement and rehabilitation began. She went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Belmont University—an experience that shaped her patient-first philosophy and deepened her passion for lifelong learning.

Abigail Hurlock, PTA

Abigail Hurlock, PTA

Professional Experience

With three years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, Abigail Hurlock has developed a strong foundation in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. She is certified in Blood Flow Restriction Therapy and has advanced training in managing hypermobility disorders, including Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). Her clinical approach emphasizes individualized care, helping patients progress efficiently while prioritizing long-term outcomes.

Abigail specializes in treating a variety of orthopedic injuries, including pre- and post-surgical cases, acute conditions, and chronic pain. As a former collegiate athlete who has personally navigated post-surgical rehabilitation, she brings a unique level of empathy and understanding to her patients, especially athletes working to return to peak performance. Her passion lies in guiding individuals through recovery with confidence, strength, and resilience.

Personal Life

Outside of the clinic, Abigail enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, often creating lasting memories with family at the lake. She stays active through running, CrossFit, and playing pickleball, embracing a lifestyle that reflects her commitment to health, movement, and overall well-being.

Education

Abigail earned her Associate’s degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from the University of Indianapolis. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Indiana University Kokomo, where she competed as an NAIA volleyball player. Her educational background, combined with certifications in Blood Flow Restriction Therapy and hypermobility treatment, supports her dedication to delivering effective, evidence-based care.
